Networking with the World - B.C. on World Stage During 2010 and Beyond

Creating a showcase for economic opportunities, culture and tourism.

The Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games are pushing British Columbia’s culture, tourism and economic opportunities to the centre of the world stage.

In fact, the 2010 Winter Games are the perfect occasion for businesses to develop new relationships that will enhance their reputation and enable them to gain new experience and capacity.

To showcase and promote British Columbia’s businesses, communities, culture and tourism during the 2010 Winter Games and beyond, we’ve turned Robson Square into one-stop centre for business, media and the public in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

2010 Commerce Centre and BC Showcase

Robson Square is also home to the 2010 Commerce Centre. The Commerce Centre was set up by the Province of B.C. to help inform, educate and connect businesses to the economic opportunities of the Games.

Also located at Robson Square, the BC Showcase event facility is built to LEED Gold standards, featuring innovative multimedia displays of communities and leading industries from around the province. It will host business visitors, build business relationships and promote awareness and recognition of B.C.'s competitive advantages during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
